The project is utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques for clash detection, construction phasing, and project planning. By creating a 3-D model, multiple trades are combined and “clashed” to determine potential coordination issues, prior to installation in the field. In addition to clash detection, the model is attached to time, visually representing the construction schedule and allowing for installation phasing to be fine tuned.
